British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced that Turkey has signed a deal worth approximately £8 billion (USD 10.74 billion) to procure 20 Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets.
Under the overall procurement plan, Turkey aims to acquire at least 44 Eurofighter Typhoons in total. The aircraft are expected to be sourced as follows: 20 from the United Kingdom, 12 from Qatar, and 12 from Oman.
